Readual helps you learn a language by reading: pages of books are gradually enriched with words of the language you learn, adapted to your level.

You need an account (Sign in with Apple or Google) to use the app. You must be at least 13, or the age of digital consent in your country.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account). This does not cancel your Apple subscription: cancel it in iOS Settings.

Free includes:

• the sample book, in full;
• the first 14 pages of every book (bookstore, classics and imported books);
• vocabulary, reviews and progress.

Readual Pro unlocks 3 new books per calendar month beyond page 14. The counter resets on the 1st of each month; unused unlocks do not carry over. A book you have unlocked stays unlocked and never counts twice.

Readual Pro is an auto-renewing subscription:

• Yearly: €89 per year;
• Monthly: €12.99 per month.

New subscribers get a 3-day free trial, once per Apple ID (eligibility is checked by Apple). We remind you the day before the trial ends.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
• Any unused part of a free trial is lost when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled only by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Restore your purchase with "Restore" on the paywall or "Restore purchases" in the app's Settings.
• The subscription is tied to the Apple ID that bought it and linked to the Readual account signed in.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Readual's design, texts, logo and mascot belong to Haloban Capitalis.

The catalogue and libraries (bookstore and classics) may change, open or close at any time. The sample book and your imported books remain available. We try to keep the app running smoothly but cannot guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors.

To the extent permitted by law, Haloban Capitalis is not liable for indirect damages or for losses caused by misuse of the app, interruptions or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

These terms are governed by French law. Before any legal action, contact us at contact@readual.app to find an amicable solution. As a consumer you may also use a consumer mediator free of charge. Failing that, the competent French courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rules that let consumers sue in their own country.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we tell you in the app about important changes.
